Lyrical dance style combines ballet, jazz and contemporary dance techniques. It is an expressive dance form focusing on conveying musicality and emotion through movement. As the name may suggest, the lyrics of the chosen song serve as inspiration, telling the story of the song through for movements and expressions of the dance.

 

Attire: Wear something comfortable and stretchy that doesn’t restrict movement as there is a lot of stretching and floor work involved. Leggings and a fitting top would work nicely. No shoes are required.
