This style has its roots in street salsa dancing, with contemporary dance movements fused in. The moves contrast between fluid and sharp, danced over a latin rhythm. This class draws elements from various styles to explore how your body can move a little differently to latin music, while increasing your range of motion and musicality for latin and contemporary dancing. This style is perfect for those who want to explore salsa or contemporary movement, without the need for a dance partner!
Attire: Wear something comfortable and stretchy that doesn’t restrict movement, and that ideally allows you to see your form in the mirror. No shoes are required, though students can wear jazz shoes/ dance flats if preferred.
