Dominican Bachata or Traditional Bachata is the original style of Bachata danced in the Dominican Republic. It emphasizes the use of hip movements, grounded footwork and moves that express the dynamic music which is influenced by Bolero & Merengue. Often considered a fast-style of dance, it is fun, relaxed and perfect for those who want to expand their knowledge and moves for Bachata.
In this workshop, you will be taught the original style of Bachata with footwork and partner work. You will learn a brief history, how to listen to Bachata instruments and how to finally apply movements to match those instruments.
